Once In Algarve
I am just back from Portugal, the land of discoveries and adventures. The two weeks I spent there will always be the happiest and the most enjoyable ones in my life.
I had first planned to spend my vacation days in Lisbon, the capital and the largest city in Portugal. However, after doing some searching on the web I changed my mind and decided to leave for Algarve, which is the southern region of the country.
I was having my vacation with a friend of mine who is fond of active vacations. I myself am mad about just lying on the beach and enjoying the summer sun. So it was the right decision of ours to choose Algarve.
Algarve is full of historical architectural masterpieces that are really worth admiring. Its capital, Faro, can also be named the cultural corner in Algarve. Besides its monuments, churches and other valuable sights, Algarve is known for its incredible beaches. As for me, nothing in the world can be compared with the sandy golden beaches of Algarve. The beaches are surrounded by interesting and rare plants that make Algarve beaches a real paradise for having rest.
Both me and my friend were very satisfied with our vacation. With the help of an Algarve car rental agency we had a grand tour along Algarve in course of three days. My friend shot a great deal of photos of Algarve sights. Then we rented one of the beach cottages and spent the rest of our vacation there.
It was the best vacation I have ever had in my life. I’ve really fallen in love with Algarve, especially with its golden beaches. I hope to return there soon.
