Orange County Communities Support RecyclingWhen traveling through Orange County you’ll notice that the environment is very clean. Orange County is one of the counties in California that has made an agreement with Waste Management, in order to keep its territory clean and unpolluted with the help of recycling.

The Orange County communities of Coto de Caza, Cowan Heights, El Modena, Emerald Bay, Lemon Heights, Modjeska Canyon, North Tustin, Orange Olive, Orange Park Acres, Silverado Canyon and Trabuco Canyon do their best to arrange waste collection properly.

Orange recycling programs have become famous. Carts of three different sizes are available for free for collecting waste and recyclables: 35 gallons, 64 gallons and 96 gallons. No green-waste carts are provided, however. If you need a cart for green-waste they can be easily acquired. They should be 35 gallons at most, as a rule.

You can place all the recycling items altogether in the same cart. By the way, you should contact Waste Management only when your recycling cart is full. Aluminium cans, empty aerosol cans, pie tins, coupons, cereal boxes, tissue boxes, glass bottles and jars, juice bottles, liquor bottles, laundry detergent boxes and bottles, newspapers and other kinds of papers, milk jugs and cardboard egg cartons should be placed into your recycling cart.

Never put window glass, paint cans, ceramics, pet waste, disposable diapers, rubber or latex items, plastic bags, toys, napkins, pizza boxes, foam padding, steel items and soiled or greasy plates into the recycling cart. Instead they should be placed into the trash container.

The population of Orange County is already aware of all the pros of recycling, and it supports Waste Management to fulfil the recycling process.
