The Incredible Museum Of Wax
If you feel that it’s time to go to a museum, remember that Wax museums possess the most unbelievable collections in the world.
It’s quite an experience to stand in front of the wax figure of Elvis Presley, for instance. You can even go close to him, study his face from a distance of an inch and take a picture with him. Interested? Well, then book a ticket to London, New York, Las Vegas, Hollywood, Washington DC, Berlin or Hong Kong and go to Madame Tussauds.
Madame Tussauds is the most famous wax museum in the world. The museum has a long history. You can even find the sculptures that Madame Tussaud made herself. The collection includes Hollywood and Bollywood stars, politicians and historical figures. Some of the sculptures were damaged because of a fire in 1925 and the German bombing in World War II.
In the museum, you can touch and stand next to the wax figure of your idol, and I am more than sure that you’ll hardly find any difference in resemblance. Some stars donate their clothes to the museum so their sculptures look more lifelike.
But this isn’t all. If you go to the original Madame Tussauds of London, there is a special room called the Chamber of Horrors which is the most interesting place in the building. The sculptures of infamous criminals and murderers of all times are gathered there. If you are weak at heart, I’d recommend you not enter there.
Seeing Martin Luther King, Lady Diana, Marilyn Monroe, Madonna, Michael Jackson, Albert Einstein, Pablo Picasso and many other world-known figures will be one of the fantastic and most unusual experiences you’ll ever have.
