Wizarding World Of Harry Potter
The book series about Harry Potter, written by J. K. Rowling, has many fans among all ages and nationalities.
I think these books are among the most interesting in modern English literature. They are so descriptive and full of details, that after reading them you feel like you know everything about wizardry and have even studied in Hogwarts for a couple of years. You know all about the secret passages in the castle, the passwords to the common rooms and every single store in Hogsmeade.
The movies are great and help you to visualize the whole Wizarding World, but starting this year you will have the chance to see that world with your own eyes.
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter theme park will be opened on June 18, 2010. It is located on the Islands of Adventure, Universal Studios, Orlando, Florida, and will include the huge and marvelous Hogwarts castle, the Hogwarts express and the Hogsmeade village.
You will be able to enter the castle and hang around the most important rooms in the castle: the Great Hall, Dumbledore’s office and many other rooms.
If you have ever wished you could play Quidditch, the “Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey” attraction will give you that opportunity.
The KUKA Arm 3D Experience Robocoaster, that was developed by the German company called KUKA Aktiengesellschaft, consists of a robotic arm that can move in six angles. The 3D screens in front of the seats will create a real and breathtaking ride.
When you’re done in the castle, you should definitely visit Hogsmeade. The curiosity of Harry Potter fans will surely be satisfied, when they visit all of the shops that are described in the books. You can visit the Dervish and Bangs, which will serve as a great souvenir shop. The Ollivander’s will open the world of hundreds of wands, and you will be able to find your own. Sweets lovers will be delighted to know that Honeydukes is going to offer the same sweets and candies that the heroes of the book love: the every color beans, the chocolate frogs and many other fantastic candies.
For lunch and dinner you’ll be able to visit the Hog’s Head or the Three Broomsticks just like Harry, Hermione, Ron and the other students did in the books. There’s another surprise for you. At the Three Broomsticks you’ll have a chance to drink real Butterbeer! The drink was approved by Joanne Rowling herself, so, it must have the real taste.
You definitely shouldn’t miss the trip to the magic world of Harry Potter. It is supposed to become one of the most popular trip destinations, as Harry Potter fans from all over the world cannot wait until the day when they will be able to visit Hogwarts, the School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
