A Trip For TwoIt’s already summer and it’s high time that you go on vacation. But you probably can’t decide where to go, because your spouse or partner strives to see something new, while you dream of a relaxed romantic vacation together.

Well, in this post you will be introduced to three trip destinations that will satisfy you both and allow you to discover new places and gather new impressions.

  • Paris. That Paris is the city of lovers is nothing new, but try to approach it from another point of view. Instead of visiting the eternally crowded Louvre, make your way to the Rodin’s museum and gaze at the amazing sculptures of lovers. Take a look at Paris, for example, with the eyes of the famous movie heroine Amelie Poulain. Go to Montmartre and check out the small, hidden streets–nearly all of them will lead you to a nice cafe, where you can calmly drink coffee and describe your love for each other. After that, tracking the famous Juliette Binoche and Denis Lavant from “The Lovers On The Bridge,” go to the oldest bridge in Paris–Pont-Neuf (which is still called “new,” by the way). Another bridge, named after Alexander II, is an ideal place to kiss. The Parisians say that if a couple makes a wish and kisses on it, the wish will definitely come true!
  • Lantau Island, Hong Kong. This place is unique because on this very island the biggest statue to Buddha stands. Reaching this miracle is not an easy task, as you have to climb a six kilometer long staircase with 268 steps. But the Buddhists claim that those who overcome that difficulty will reach eternal happiness and will maintain their love forever. You can also enjoy the typical tourist-stuff like buying souvenirs, making photos with monkeys and tasting the delicious tea in a cozy tea-house.
  • Granada, Spain. This fantastically beautiful town is the best among Spain sightseeing tours and is world-famous for its Red Castle — Alhambra. The marble walls of the castle resemble satin shawls and the columns, though unimaginably old, look wonderfully snow-white and magical in the evening lights of Granada. Along with its beauty, this place is famous for an old legend, which brings thousands of couples every year. The wife of one of the last Moorish sultans in the reign was passionately in love with a young soldier and had secret meetings with him in the orange and almond-tree garden, lying just beside the gorgeous castle. And, I have to confess, this garden is so favorable for love: everything there would compel you to kiss the one you love — the calm, relaxed atmosphere, the nice benches, hidden between fresh cut bushes and the charming spell of orange and almond trees. Love is simply floating in the air in Granada.
