How To Pack It All In

Everybody loves the feeling that comes before the flight – full of expectations and hopes for a perfect summer vacation in one of the greatest beachfront hotels or on the best sandy beach resort.

But this feeling can easily change into panic when you stand in front of the suitcase and don’t know what and how to pack into the seemingly big suitcase that turns too tiny when you realize how much stuff you plan to take with you.

Now let’s check if you really know how to pack the right way. Here are some little tricks that you have to follow if you want to make the best of your suitcase.

  • The first hint for all packers is to put the heaviest items on the bottom of the suitcase, particularly shoes, jackets or jeans. Usually suitcases have belts with which you can fix down those items, creating a relevant base for the more gentle and fragile stuff that will be on top.
  • Shoes and cosmetics have to be wrapped in plastic bags before they go in the suitcase so that they don’t leave stains on your clothes.
  • Clothes that are made of textured fabric should be put in special plastic vacuum bags. They allow you to remove the air left inside the fabric, thus reducing its size. So towels, cardigans and sweaters can take much less space than you had expected.
  • What can you do in order to keep expensive clothes in form? Just pack some other clothes between every fold of the ironed, expensive ones. When you unpack you won’t find any wrinkles on them.
  • For filling in the empty space the perfect trick is the rolling technique. Instead of folding the clothes just roll them up. This helps keep the form of the clothes and use the empty space left in the suitcase.

Now you don’t have to be scared of packing, and don’t leave it for the last minute before the journey. Do it calmly and be light-hearted, because now that you know exactly how to pack, it will be much easier!
