Vero Beach, the seat of Indian River County, seems to have it all as a central tourism district. Sunny beaches, fishing, boating, luxurious parks, museums and theaters, shopping centers, citrus and tropical fruit plantations–everything a city needs to attract tourists from all over the world.

Due to its semi-tropical weather, Vero Beach is home to various citrus and tropical fruits. The Indian River Citrus Museum, located in Vero Beach, has an exhibition on the Indian River County citrus industry, including photos, souvenirs and citrus-based products.

Vero Beach is also very famous for its parks and gardens, mainly Riverside Park and McKee Botanical Garden, which was open to public in 1932. The Vero Beach Museum of Art, located not far from Riverside Park, was established in 1986. It features art exhibitions, tours, performances, a sculpture garden, film studies programs, an art research library, youth events and seminars. Another noteworthy museum The McLarty Treasure Museum is also noteworthy–it exhibits the history of the 1715 Spanish treasure fleet. The best known theaters are Vero Theater, also known as Florida Theater or Theater Plaza, and Riverside Theater.

There are also golf courses in Vero Beach, among them Red Stick, Indian River Club, Bent Pine Golf Club, Oak Harbor Club, Vero Beach Country Club and some others. Some luxurious Florida golf course homes are located in Vero Beach.

This small city in Florida is included in the list of 100 best small art towns in America. And it has great potential to attract the attention of many different tourists wanting to spend a wonderful time, especially sports fans and art lovers.
