Things To Do In India: Part 2There are many different trip destinations in India for different people. Some go there to admire the numerous temples and palaces (I mentioned them in my  previous post).

Others prefer to discover the hectic and industrial life of modern India. Yet another group opts for sandy beaches and breathtaking oceanside vistas. Many dream about attending some of numerous Indian festivals. The fact is that India will not dismay the wishes and ideas for your desired holiday.

Beach lovers may have unforgettable holidays in Goa (Palolem, Candolim, Baga, Sinquerim, Bambolim, Arambol, Vagator beaches), Kerala (Varkala, Alappuzha, Kovalam ), Chennai (Marina, the longest beach in Asia, Elliots, Covelong beaches), Lakshadweep (Agatti, Kalpeni, Kavaratti islands), Karnataka (Karwar, Malpe, Gokarna beaches) and Havelock (Radha Nagar beach).

Beachfront rentals correspond to the required standards and you may have no worries about their being comfortable and clean.

This is only a small number of Indian beach destinations, but I have chosen them not for their being popular and crowded, but mainly for their natural beauty and attractiveness.

Do you favor tropical destinations? No problem, the flora and the fauna of this eastern country, located in the Indomalaya ecozone, have much to offer to you. Mammalian, avian, reptilian, amphibian, fish, flowering plant species can be found in India, about 33 percent of them being endemic. During the national park tours you will have the unique opportunity to admire the Asiatic Lion, Bengal Tiger, Nilgiri leaf monkey and Beddome’s toad.

The most famous among more than 80 Indian national parks are the following:

Bandhavgarh National Park in Umaria, Madhya Pradesh is well known for its large population of tigers. The white tiger, an endangered and rare species, was first noticed in this district in 1951. In the Bandhavgarh National Park the visitors can also see leopards, deer, foxes, gaurs, wild boars, rhesus macaques and many other representatives of wildlife.

Things To Do In India: Part 2Kaziranga National Park is located in the Golaghat and Nagaon districts, Assam. Lovers of Rhinoceroses should certainly visit this park. Two-thirds of the of the total amount of one-horned rhinoceroses in the world are residents of this park. In 2006 Kaziranga National Park was declared a tiger reserve, because it is a home for the largest number of tigers among protected areas. Among other inhabitants of the park are elephants, wild water buffaloes, deer, mongooses and badgers.

Your green vacations in these parks or in any other national park of India will not only help you forget about your routine responsibilities, but will give you the opportunity to feel closer to nature and see the unique plants and animals that you cannot meet in any other part of the world.
